Wie und was packt eine Chefredakteurin für die Schauen?
In Chanel zur Dior Show? Das wäre ein Fauxpas. Man setzt sich nicht im Outfit eines rivalisierenden Modehauses in die Front Row, läßt sich fotografieren und lächelt schön. Das gilt für Paris, wo gerade die Couture Schauen statt finden, aber für Berlin, wo die Fashion Week angelaufen ist.
Gibt es ungeschriebene Regeln und Gesetze?
Im Outfit des Designer zu seiner jeweiligen Modeschau zu erscheinen, gilt als höflich und aufmerksam. Früher, als es nur 5 oder 6 Shows am Tag gab, war dies üblich. Aber heute, wo manchmal 10 Termine gleichzeitig statt finden, und man keine Zeit mehr hat, sich um zu ziehen, muss man sich fokussieren und entscheiden, wem man die Ehre erweist. Das hat natürlich auch immer wirtschaftliche Auswirkungen. Ein schönes Foto und der Look verkauft sich gut.
Die Planung
Etwa 10 Tage vor Abreise zur jeweiligen Fashion Week stelle ich meine Wunsch-Looks zusammen. Da ich das große Glück habe, von den meisten Designern ausgestattet zu werden, schicke ich per Mail eine Anfrage oder gehe schnell persönlich zu den Showrooms. Nicht alle Wunsch-Outfits klappen, oft sind die „Sampels“, also die Presseteile, die ich gerne hätte, irgendwo auf der Welt bei einem Shooting unterwegs oder ein Star hat sie schon für sich reserviert. Bei der Fashion Week in Berlin gibt es auch immer sogenannte Styling-Suiten, wo man sich die Outfits zeitnah zur Modeschau ausleihen kann. Ich persönlich achte vor allem darauf, dass ich immer spektakuläre Schuhe trage. Im Zweifel lieber ein Hammer Schuh, als eine Hammer Klamotte. „Angesagte“ Taschen trage ich eher selten, ich habe mein Handy dabei, that’s it.
